200!!

Today, I say I was privileged to watch one of the finest innings ever played by any batsman in the world in one day cricket.

And that it came from the Master Blaster comes as no surprise to anybody!!!

It was the innings which saw the perfection in the little man- perfect timing, perfect placement, perfect shot selection, perfect hitting. Perfection personified!

To make a double century in One day Cricket is no joke, but this man sure has a fine sense of humor!

Like an artist, he went around painting a wagon wheel that any batsman can only envy!

Punishing the poor deliveries, clobbering the good ones, he just dismantled the South African side who were reduced to mere spectators of his sheer brilliance!!
What never ceases to amaze me is his passion for the game and more importantly his temperament. The way he carries himself on the ground is a lesson to be learnt by many budding cricketers. It would come as no surprise when he would go on to make a century of half centuries and a half century of centuries! Not once has he let his age speak an inkling of his capabilities. He truly endorses the saying that " You are as old as you think you are" !
Well, I would love to go on and rave more about the brilliance of an innings and the artist who crafted it, but I am somehow, at a loss of words!
All I can say, is that I am truly privileged to have watched such a master piece from the master blaster!!

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, you go! Write history and rewrite the same!!

Ideation process in the head,
Looking back in time and looking ahead.
An attempt to pen down those thoughts a few,
An attempt to come up with something anew;

The pen in restless hands, fails yet again
Making the words and thoughts all seem inane.
Like a sailor caught in a tempest, I cluelessly sail.
The body feeble, and the mind very frail.

In the past and now ,the mind has yet again erred,
Leaving thoughts clouded and the vision totally blurred.
